Under supervision, volunteers may perform various tasks at various departments within the City of Los Angeles, California or Montego Bay, Jamaica. This is a non-compensated, voluntary position. Duties and responsibilities will vary according to the needs of the department at the time of volunteering, and may include, but are not limited to, sample tasks such as operating a personal computer using the Microsoft Office suite of products, cooking, reading, proofreading documents, Public Speaking/Meeting Facilitation, Education/Job coaching and compiling data for reports. Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Minimum qualifications will vary depending on the needs of the particular department at the time of volunteering.
