La Familia Movements, a prominent non-profit organization committed to delivering vital services to underserved communities, commemorates eleven years of dedicated service. Throughout the past decade-plus, the organization has left a profound impact on countless individuals and families globally.

Established in 2013, La Familia Movements emerged with a mission to enhance the lives of residents in disadvantaged communities through a diverse array of programs and services. These initiatives encompass youth advocacy, vocational training, housing assistance, family reunification, substance abuse rehabilitation, college readiness, school meal provisions, student accolades, humanitarian aid, and mental health support. Expanding steadily, the organization has reached and positively influenced 11,576 households to date.

In tandem with its core programs, La Familia Movements has forged partnerships with local entities, businesses, and governmental bodies to broaden its scope and efficacy. These collaborations have enabled the organization to channel supplementary resources and aid into the communities it serves.

Reflecting on the milestone, Nollis Dewar, the Executive Director of La Familia Movements, expressed profound gratitude, stating, "We are immensely proud of our accomplishments over the past eleven years. Witnessing the transformative impact on countless individuals and families underscores the dedication and diligence of our team."

To mark its 11th anniversary, La Familia Movements will host a special event on July 14th, 2023, in Somerton, Saint James. The occasion will serve as an opportunity to extend appreciation to supporters and celebrate achievements. Members of the public are cordially invited to attend and learn more about the organization's mission and endeavors.
